Sharing our views with the Senedd Finance Committee

Bevan Foundation joins the Senedd Finance Committee stakeholder event on the Welsh Government Budget 

The Bevan Foundation were delighted to join the Senedd Finance Committee for a stakeholder event at Llanhilleth Miners Institute on June 15. The event provided stakeholders with an opportunity to share their views on what they believed should be the Welsh Government’s spending priorities for 2023/24. These will be used to inform the committee’s work in scrutinising the next Welsh Government’s budget. 

The Bevan Foundation’s Head of Policy (Poverty), Steffan Evans attended on behalf of the Bevan Foundation. Among the issues discussed were the impact of the cost of living crisis, tackling poverty and inequality, the long term sustainability of public services and children and young people.
