Statement on independence and neutrality

February 4th 2015

The Bevan Foundation is independent of all political parties in everything it does, and endeavours to ensure that it is perceived to be independent by the general public. From time to time it campaigns and engages with the political arena in pursuit of its charitable objectives, always doing so in a balanced way.

The Trustees are committed to ensuring that the Bevan Foundation demonstrates independence and neutrality in everything it does and recognise that the public needs reassurance that charities, including the Bevan Foundation, are politically independent.

For this reason they have prepared a statement on the Foundation’s political neutrality and independence, which is available here.
