Value of Volunteering

The Bevan Foundation joined dozens of other charities and community groups at the University of Wales, Newport’s annual volunteering and placement fair on 5^th October. The University of Wales, Newport’s aim is to ‘kick start a programme to bring together students, voluntary, charity and community organisations, in a shared purpose to make volunteering a valued part of the lives of our students.’  The Foundation’s communications manager, Daneka Norman, said ‘It was a great opportunity to explain what the Bevan Foundation does to staff and students and we’re looking forward to working with volunteers in the next few months’.
