What is it about?

The Three Towns project is exploring some of the conditions, barriers and opportunities for growing the foundational economy in Treharris in Merthyr Tydfil, Treherbert in Rhondda Cynon Taf and Cwmafan in Neath Port Talbot.

Why should you take part?

In this session will we highlight some of our key findings from the report. It will also be an opportunity to discuss their relevance with key stakeholders and partners in the three communities. What is familiar or what is different from their area of work, including:

  • What needs to change to best support micro-businesses
  • The relevance of disposable incomes for growing the foundational economy
  • How to harness more collaboration and cooperation at the local level
  • The foundational economy as a driver for change in smaller communities

How to get involved?
