Our Head of Policy Dr Steffan Evans speaks on tackling poverty in Haverfordwest

On Wednesday 14th February, the Bevan Foundation was invited to speak at Pembrokeshire County Council’s Tackling Poverty Summit.

Our Head of Policy (Poverty) Dr Steffan Evans gave a talk about the situation in Wales and the Bevan Foundation’s work in helping to end poverty.

Dr Barry Walters introduced the event, followed by a talk by Cllr Neil Prior and the Council’s Head of Children’s Services, Darren Mutter, around the Tackling Poverty Strategy. Other speakers included Dr Rob Green; Ben Saltmarsh and Maisie Chatfield from National Energy Action; Sarah Hughes and Karen Scott.
