Poverty in Arfon report gets significant coverage  

The Bevan Foundation launched a new report on poverty in Arfon at the Eisteddfod  

The Bevan Foundation launched its new report, Poverty in Arfon in the 21^st century: Modern solutions for an old challenge for Wales at the National Eisteddfod on August 7^th. The report, commissioned by Hywel Williams MP, was launched at a panel discussion in the “societies tent”. The discussion was very well attended and joining Steffan and Hywel Williams MP on the panel were Catrin Wager, Siân Elen Tomos from GISDA and Councillor Menna Trenholme.  

The report received significant media coverage. The publication of the report was the lead story on S4C’s Newyddion on the day of its publication, and featured on BBC Wales Today. Steffan was also interviewed live from the studio by BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru on August 8^th, with the story also appearing on the BBC’s website in English and Welsh and in the Western Mail.
