Tribute paid to Elaine Morgan

Bevan Foundation Director, Victoria Winckler, has joined many others in paying tribute to writer and broadcaster Elaine Morgan, who died on 12th July aged 92.

Speaking to the Western Mail, Victoria said “I never had the privilege of meeting Elaine Morgan, but she played a big role in my life. Her Descent of Woman helped to make me a feminist in my teens, and later on she was an enthusiastic supporter of the setting up of the Bevan Foundation. A free-spirited, independent thinker, she has made a massive contribution to Welsh life and will be sorely missed.”
