Developing a detailed understanding of poverty in Arfon 

Poverty is a problem in all communities across Wales, with Arfon being no exception. The project sets out to deepen our understanding of poverty in the constituency and to develop solutions. 

Aims 

The projects aims to:

• Develop a deeper understanding of who lives in poverty in Arfon.
• Develop a deeper understanding of the local factors that lead to people living in poverty in Arfon.
• Develop local and national solutions to poverty in Arfon.

What we’re doing 

We will develop our understanding of poverty in Arfon by using a mix of desk-based analysis of statistics and policy documents and interviews with key stakeholders within the constituency.

Outcomes 

• Work ongoing in Arfon to put the recommendation in the report into practice.
• Workshops held in Arfon to look at how the community can take ideas forward.
