Review of bus policy

July 31st 2014

The group consisted of bus operators, local authorities and passenger representatives, and their remit was to:

  • identify actions that needed to be taken to support a commercially sustainable bus network,
  • improve accessibility for disabled passengers and
  • promote bus use amongst young people.

The group reported to the Minister at the end of June 2014 – a copy is available below. In November 2014 the group reconvened to take the issues identified in the report forward.
