In July 2013, the Bevan Foundation was commissioned by Welsh Government Transport Minister to undertake a review of long-distance bus services in Wales. Director, Victoria Winckler, undertook the review because of her background in social justice and equality as well as her knowledge of public transport from her previous work in local government. The review was undertaken in July and August, using evidence on demand and the views of stakeholders and was submitted as requested on 30th August 2013.
