1. Who we are
In these Terms and Conditions of Sales, Shipping and Delivery references to “we”, “us” and “our” are to the Bevan Foundation, a registered charity (Charity Number: 1104191) and a Company Limited by Guarantee (4175018) with Registered Offices at The Innovation Centre, Festival Drive, Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent NP23 8XA.

2. Description of goods and services

Our website contains a description of the goods and services supplied by the Bevan Foundation. We will supply goods and services to you as described (errors and omissions excepted). If at any time this is not the case you have the right to reject the goods and services within your Rights to Cancel.

3. Price of goods

Our website shows the price of goods and services inclusive of VAT where applicable plus delivery charges, and goods will be provided to you at the price shown (errors and omissions excepted). In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on our website the Bevan Foundation reserves the right to abstain from fulfilling the order at that price.

4. Payment

Goods may be paid for by Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro. Membership and donations may be paid for by Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Direct Debit or cheque. Customers purchasing membership may request an invoice or pay by BACS.

Where a purchaser requests an invoice payment is required within 30 days of the date of the invoice and in accepting the goods the purchase accepts this payment period. In the event of late payment the Bevan Foundation reserves the right to charge £30 per invoice and interest at 12% daily as compensation for late payment, under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulation 2002.

5. Delivery

Delivery costs per item are shown on the website and are for first class postage. Delivery to addresses outside the UK may incur additional charges by carriers: please contact us on 01495 356702 or email us for a quotation.

We will deliver goods and services to the address you give in your order. For membership, you need to notify us of any changes of postal or email address during your period of membership. We cannot accept any liability for non-delivery if the postal or email addresses given by you are not correct or up-to-date.

We will fulfill your order within 28 days of receiving it although it will often be much sooner. If you do not receive your order within 14 days please contact the Bevan Foundation on 01495 356702 or email [email protected]

We do not accept liability for any subsequent use made by you of any goods and services we supply.

6. Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel your order for goods at any time before despatch. If you wish to do so please contact us on 01495 356702 or email [email protected]

Under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of your goods. You must notify us in writing (email, fax or post) if you wish to cancel your order. You do not need to give a reason or pay a penalty.

If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then you must send the goods back to us, in perfect condition, at The Innovation Centre, Festival Drive, Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent NP23 8XA at your own cost and risk.

When we receive notification of cancellation, the price of the goods will be re-credited to your card or your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you, at your expense, and are received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods in good condition or do not pay the costs of delivery, we will be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.

Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to donations.

7. Faulty or Defective Goods

If any goods are faulty or defective please notify us within 3 days of receipt of your order. We will replace the goods or credit your card or account for the costs of the goods and costs of returning them.

8. Cancellation by us

We reserve the right not to accept your order if we have insufficient stock; if we do not deliver to your area; or
if there was a typographical error in the price on our website. In such circumstances we will notify you by e-mail or by telephone.
