Our consultation response to the Welsh Government’s ‘Ending homelessness: a high level action plan 2021 to 2026’

The Bevan Foundation have submitted evidence to the Welsh Government’s ‘Ending homelessness: a high level action plan 2021 to 2026’ consultation. 

This autumn the Welsh government conducted a consultation their high level action plan to end homelessness in Wales. The Bevan Foundation have looked at the Welsh Government’s plan, and have submitted a response with our feedback. Among the issues considered in our response are;

• A need for a greater emphasis on tackling housing affordability. 
• The challenges faced by the Welsh Government’s Leasing Scheme.
• The opportunities made available from greater involvement from Rent Smart Wales
