Measuring Up: Progress Towards Equality for Women in Wales

Thirty years after the introduction of legislation to stop discrimination against women, this report reviews progress against a number of key indicators of men and women’s wellbeing. Written by Victoria Winckler for the Equal Opportunities Commission, the approach of using indicators to benchmark progress was a first in the area of equality. It paints a sobering picture of the progress towards equality.
