The Future of Doing Good in Wales

January 10th 2018

Wales is at a crossroads. Many people and organisations face very real social, economic, cultural and environmental challenges, as well as having to cope with significant political and financial uncertainty.

To stimulate discussion about these changes, the Big Lottery Fund has been looking across the UK at ‘The Future of Doing Good’.  The Big Lottery Fund has worked with the Bevan Foundation to air the issues in Wales.

Over the last year it has engaged with people and organisations from a wide range of backgrounds in the third sector,  as well as some in the public and private sectors.

This paper summarises the main themes to emerge from these conversations. Its aim is to stimulate further thinking and discussion about the future of ‘doing good’, not only amongst charities and social enterprises but in the public and private sectors as well.

We hope you find food for thought.
