Sharing our work on poverty in Gwynedd

The Bevan Foundation held workshops with Gwynedd Council to further understanding of poverty in the area

The Bevan Foundation were delighted to be able to team up with Gwynedd Council recently to facilitate three workshops on poverty in the area. The events were held across the authority in Penygroes, Porthmadog and Dolgellau and provided an opportunity for stakeholders and local authority staff to come together to network and to further their understanding of poverty.

Dr Steffan Evans facilitated the workshops on behalf of the Bevan Foundation with over 50 people attending the the three sessions. The workshops also provides partners with an opportunity to share their thoughts on what further actions could be taken nationally and locally to address poverty in Gwynedd and the ideas shared at these sessions will help inform our future work to end poverty and inequality.
