Informing reaction to the autumn statement: 4 media appearances

The Bevan Foundation’s expert team informed analysis of the UK Government’s autumn statement. 

The Bevan Foundation’s team’s insights and analysis have shaped reaction to the UK Government’s autumn statement across media channels.  We commented on a wide range of issues but especially on changes to household incomes and on the prospects for levelling up the economy. 

1. Starting on Monday 25th October, the Foundation’s director, Victoria Winckler outlined the Foundation’s hopes for the budget on BBC Radio Wales’ Drive Time programme. 
2. The following day, 26th October, Head of Policy Steffan Evans contributed to S4C’s Newyddion
3. Also on 26th October, Victoria Winckler commented on Heart radio.
4. The analysis culminated on budget day itself with Victoria appearing on BBC TV’s Wales Live show on 27th October.
