Bevan Foundation submits response to Welsh Government’s consultation on Fuel Poverty

The Bevan Foundation has submitted its response to the Welsh Government’s consultation on its Draft Fuel Poverty Strategy

The Bevan Foundation was pleased to submit written evidence to the Welsh Government’s consultation on its Draft Fuel Poverty Strategy. 155,000 households live in fuel poverty, despite a Welsh Government target of eradicating the problem by 2018. Whilst there is much to welcome in the new Draft Strategy The Bevan Foundation does have some concerns about the strategy. We were therefore grateful for the opportunity to share these and to share some of our ideas about what can be done to improve the Welsh Government’s approach.
