Linc Cymru extend invite to Bevan Foundation to share their research on poverty

The Bevan Foundation were delighted to receive an invite from Linc Cymru to share their latest research on poverty in Wales with the housing association’s board. With 7000,000 people trapped in poverty in Wales even before the pandemic hit, it is more important than every that all organisations are considering what they can do to take action to solve poverty.

Steffan Evans represented the Bevan Foundation and gave board members a 10 minute presentation on who lives in poverty in Wales and on the causes of poverty. He outlined some actions for the housing association to consider and joined an interesting group discussion.

Reflecting after the event, Steffan said:

“It was great to get an invite from Linc to join their discussion. To solve poverty it is vital that everyone in Wales takes action on the things that are within their control to make a difference. It was therefore brilliant to see that Linc are exploring how they can develop some of their existing good work in this field.”

If you would like the Bevan Foundation to join your organisation to share our latest research then don’t hesitate to get in touch.
