The Bevan Foundation has marked another year of solving poverty and inequality in its annual review of 2019/20.
Presented as a ‘year book’, it highlights the huge range, significant scale and exceptional impact of the Bevan Foundation’s work. Some highlights include:
- payment of cash in lieu of Free School Meals when schools closed because of Coronavirus, based on our evidence
- a new profile for Valleys towns, inspired by our anchor town concept
- plans for a new approach to community cohesion, in line with our recommendations.
There’s much more too, along with essential info and an overview of our finances.
The Bevan Foundation was only able to make a difference in 2019/20 thanks to the generosity of its supporters and subscribers, and the support of several charitable trusts and foundations.
