Bevan Foundation at Welsh Conservative Conference

Bevan Foundation kicks off 2020 conference season with towns fringe

Last week the Bevan Foundation kicked off the first of its conference season events in Llangollen at the Welsh Conservative Conference.

Our fringe event, What next for Welsh Towns? proved a popular topic and was well attended by conference goers. In it we outlined our advocacy of the development of Anchor Towns for some places, to help build more inclusive local economies and to unleash their full potential. It generated some lively discussion, contributions and insights from across Wales from fringe attendees and was kindly supported by David Melding AM.  To find out more about our Anchor Towns work, click here

This was the first of the Bevan Foundation’s party conference events. Look out for us as Plaid Cymru and Welsh Labour conferences later in March.
