Last week the Bevan Foundation was in Bangor at Plaid Cymru’s spring conference to promote a fairer Wales!

On Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd March we were at Plaid Cymru’s spring conference in Bangor asking people to support a fairer Wales. There were speeches from the leader of Plaid Cymru, Adam Price, alongside speeches from Rhun ap Iorwerth, Leanne Wood, Delyth Jewell, Sian Gwenllian and Helen Mary Jones to name but a few.

It was encouraging to hear statements on poverty in Wales, Wales’ economy and new thinking about immigration policy – all issues that we are working on.

The conference had a great atmosphere with delegates and politicians alike supporting our call to make Wales fairer. We are keen to work with all political parties in Wales to make a fair Wales a realisation and not just a slogan.

Our next stop is the Welsh Labour conference on 13th and 14th April. If you’re there, come and talk to us about supporting a fairer Wales!
