Help us raise £2,000 to address health inequalities in Wales

There is no doubt that the NHS has transformed healthcare in Wales over the last 70 years. But inequalities in the health of the people of Wales are still rife.

That’s why, in the month the NHS marks its 70th birthday, we are appealing for your help.

We need to raise £2,000 to support our work in addressing inequalities in healthcare in Wales.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’ve already achieved great things by addressing the underlying causes of health inequality.

We’ve responded to several Assembly consultations

This included the 2017 consultation by the National Assembly for  Wales’  Health, Social Care and Sport Committee on primary care. Read more

We’ve kept people up-to-date with the State of Wales’ health

Our November 2017 health briefing used selected key indicators to present a snapshot of life expectancy and health in Wales – to view the full briefing, please support us today.

We’ve guided Assembly health priorities 

Last year we called for the National Assembly for Wales’ Health, Social Care and Sport Committee to consider services for people with mild to moderate mental illness. Read more

We’ve supported people to quit smoking

Our 2014 report suggested a radical change of approach is needed Smokers need to be offered a choice of treatment, which is easily accessed, meets smokers’ needs and is immediately available. Read more
