Advising Wales’ Advice Leaders

March 6th 2018

The Bevan Foundation delivers keynote presentation to Citizens’ Advice Cymru’s Wales Leaders’ Forum 2018.

The Bevan Foundation was delighted to deliver one of the keynote presentations to Citizens’ Advice Cymru’s Wales Leaders’ Forum on 6th March in Llandudno.

Speaking to the CEO’s, senior management teams and chairs of Citizens’ Advice Bureaux across Wales, the Foundation’s Director, Victoria Winckler, outlined the changes in Wales’ economy and society that were likely to occur during 2018. Drawing on our outlook for the year ahead, she considered how changes in the economy, labour market, incomes and prices could affect households’ standard of living.

Delegates then discussed the implications for their work as advice bureaux, covering possible increases in demand for services, increased complexity of problems and how financial difficulties were often associated with health and emotional difficulties.
