Living Wage findings considered by Assembly Committee

Bevan Foundation recommendations on increasing take-up of the voluntary Living Wage were considered by the Assembly’s Economy, Infrastructure and Skills Committee.

Nisreen Mansour, Policy & Research Officer at the Bevan Foundation, gave evidence to the Committee’s inquiry into alternative perspectives on an economic strategy for Wales on 15th March 2017.

During a wide-ranging debate, she outlined our key proposals on the voluntary Living Wage as well as other recommendations made on the economy, such as the benefits of designating ‘growth hubs’ in the south Wales valleys.
