The Bevan Foundation’s Director, Victoria Winckler, delivered a briefing on the implications for welfare in Wales following last month’s Spending Review on 10th December 2015.
The presentation highlighted how, despite the reversal of some changes to Tax Credits in the autumn statement, many of the welfare changes announced in the Summer Budget remain. The forecast loss of income to the poorest households is substantial and is a significant challenge to public bodies in Wales.
Her talk was part of an event hosted by Wales Public Services 2025.
