Director addresses Tax Forum

The Bevan Foundation’s Director, Victoria Winckler, will today address the Welsh Government’s Tax Forum.

The Forum enables discussion between tax professionals and other interested people and organisations and the Welsh Government, as Wales enters an new phase in its fiscal affairs.

Victoria will explain the Bevan Foundation’s project looking at potential devolved taxes, and highlight some emerging ideas including:

• a tax on sugary drinks
• a tax on land values
• a tax on tourist stays.
