The Bevan Foundation is pleased to be working with the Women’s Equality Network (WEN) Wales to increase understanding and awareness of gender inequality.  Over the next three months the Bevan Foundation will prepare four briefings, focusing on caring, diversity, poverty and economic violence and devolution.

WEN Wales Director Lizz Roe said “Whenever I raise the issue of women’s inequality today I’m asked about the research and data to back it up. I’m delighted that WEN is working with the Bevan Foundation to find the answers before those questions are even asked. I’m hopeful it will support action and change-making to enable women across Wales to achieve equality and thrive in all aspects of their lives”.

Bevan Foundation Director Victoria Winckler said “Gender equality is key to social justice. Women experience injustice and discrimination in almost every area of their lives, and it’s got to stop. We’re delighted to be working with WEN on this vital issue, and hope that our findings will spur greeter action.”
