On the first day of Living Wage week, Bevan Foundation Director and member of the UK Living Wage Commission Victoria Winckler outlined the importance of the Living Wage on BBC Wales’s flagship evening programme, Wales Today, on Monday 4th November 2013.

Victoria explained the benefits of paying the Living Wage to employers and employees, and said that although the rate is voluntary, many businesses were finding the benefits outweighed the costs.

A briefing on the Living Wage in Wales, covering the impact on businesses, employees and public finances, is available for members in the members’ area.
