Sunday Supplement Papers

Bevan Foundation Director Victoria Winckler and Jonathan Evans, MP for Cardiff North, had an early start on Sunday to review the day’s newspapers for BBC Radio Wales’s Sunday Supplement programme on 12th June 2011.  Faced with a pile of newspapers, and a BBC breakfast platter, the pair picked out the most thought-provoking and amusing items in print that day.

‘The challenge is that there are so many stories that you could pick’, said Victoria, ‘although it is good to be able to chose a light-hearted story as well as the more serious items. The item I chose on “misleading advice to visitors to Wales” had me smiling for the rest of the day.’
