

This interactive session will help you to understand poverty in your area. It will show you how to access key sources of information and help you to understand the pros and cons of using them. The course will cover:
The course will include practical exercises and time for discussion with other participants. You will also benefit from a work book which will help you to compile a profile of poverty in your area and the opportunity for a follow-up with our team if required.
This session will be of interest to everyone concerned about poverty and deprivation in their communities, including people working in social landlords, local authorities, health boards, charities and the private sector.
Please note that you will require access to a spreadsheet programme e.g. Excel and basic ability to interpret statistical information.
The training will be delivered online via Teams, from 9.30 – 12.45 with short breaks. The number of places is limited to a maximum of ten to ensure that you have an opportunity to contribute.
