As the Campaigns Manager for Shelter Cymru, Rob is at the sharp end of the fight for home. He plays a leading role in mobilising the Shelter Cymru’s supporters, politicians and the wider public in Wales to strive for good quality, affordable homes for everyone.

Steffan joined the Bevan Foundation in July 2018 after working as a participation officer at TPAS Cymru. Steffan is currently looking at poverty in Wales and has a particular interest in exploring solutions for in-work poverty and in examining how the social security system could be improved.

Tim Thomas

Tim Thomas is a Policy Officer for the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA.) He specialises in Welsh housing policy, welfare and benefits and energy efficiency. Tim has had a wide varying career in policy and research roles in the public, private and third sectors including monitoring the Welsh Government’s flagship anti-poverty programme, Communities First at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Alun Evans

Alun works at Citizens Advice where he leads on developing influencing strategies in Wales and is responsible for ensuring the evidence from the clients the service works with is amplified and shared with power holders to influence change. Alun has worked for the national organisation for 6 years and prior to that was Deputy Chief Executive at a local Citizens Advice. Alun has nearly 20 years experience of directly working with people to help them find a way forward, specialising in social welfare law.
