Thousands of children in Wales are at risk of holiday hunger.

This seminar, one of our knowledge exchange events, will look at what is being done in Wales today and exchange ideas and experiences to help develop solutions to this growing problem.

At least one in six children is at risk of having an inadequate diet in school holidays.  As the new First Minister has pledged to extend the School Holiday Enrichment Programme, it is timely to consider how best holiday hunger can be alleviated in the short-term, and prevented in the longer-term. 

What it’s about

This seminar includes presentations by leading food campaigner, Lindsay Graham, as well as practical examples of action to reduce holiday hunger across Wales. Delegates will also discuss effective short-term and long-term action that they can take.
