Money management apps are among a new breed of fintech products that have been enabled by Open Banking. The apps offer a range of services that promise to make it easier for people to manage their money, build up their savings and to pay down debt. These apps have offered a potential lifeline for some, but with very little research undertaken into the sector not much is known about their potential harms and benefits for people on low incomes.
Over the past year the Bevan Foundation have been working to explore the potential harms and benefits of these apps. Join the Foundation as they launch a new report that shares their key findings, and take part in a roundtable discussion to have your say about the future of the sector.
The event is by invitation only. Invites will be sent to organisations and individuals who have an interest in the area. If you have an interest and have not received an invite then we would be delighted if you could join the roundtable by contacting us. Due to limited space, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Attendance is free.
