What is it about?

Community, public and shared assets are a fundamental part of our social infrastructure and have a vital role in local economies, communities and in adding to collective and individual well being.

Increasingly, the natural assets of the south Wales valleys are being reassessed and understood for their productive potential.

Join Mark Walton, of Shared Assets, Lucie Taylor, of CLAS Cymru and Chris Blake of Project Skyline to discuss challenges, successes and first hand insights on how natural assets are part of building more resilient communities, including:

  • What counts as a community asset
  • What works well in the use and running and sustainability of community assets
  • What opportunities are there to harness the productive potential of natural assets of the valleys, for the benefit of local communities
  • What practical steps, approaches and changes can support communities to better harness the productive potential of community assets?

Who should attend?

The event is by invitation only,  primarily for Bevan Foundation project partners involved in building economic resilience in the south Wales valleys . If you have an interest in this policy area for your organisation then contact us by clicking on the link above.
