What is it about?

On the 22nd of October the Wales Anti-Poverty Coalition will meet to discuss pressing issues around poverty in Wales as we head into what is set to be another difficult winter for many families. On the agenda are three broad questions on which members will have the opportunity to share thoughts and ideas:

  • Taking stock: what is the current impact of poverty on Welsh communities?
  • What are your primary concerns ahead of winter?
  • What actions should be taken to help people over the coming months?

What is the Wales Anti-Poverty Coalition?

The Coalition is an alliance of organisations from across Wales which share an interest in ending poverty in our communities. Coalition meetings provide a space for sharing and discussion, and the opportunity to combine expertise.

Who should attend?

The meeting is for members of the Coalition, but if you are part of an organisation with an interest in tackling poverty in Wales and would like to get involved you would be very welcome to attend. Please email Joel Davies ([email protected]) so we can send you an invitation.
