Fair work is far from being reality in many sectors of the foundational economy. Join us to find out how to improve people’s working lives.

What is it about?

Fair work is a top priority for the Welsh Government, but our findings reveal that many workers in retail, hospitality and social care struggle with low pay, job insecurity and workplace ill-health.  This 30 minute online event will bring together our findings and set out our recommendations for action by the Welsh Government, trades unions and employers.

Why you should take part

This short webinar will provide you with all you need to know about how to make work fair. As well as a short presentation of the key findings, you’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions or to chat online with other participants.

Join us to:

  • Understand working conditions in key sectors of the foundational economy
  • Learn what can be done using devolved powers to make work fair.
