The availability of free and low-cost immigration and asylum legal services in Wales is in crisis. With increasing demand and fewer immigration and asylum advice providers, access to timely and affordable justice is at risk of becoming unattainable.
The Bevan Foundation has been working to improve access to legal advice and related services for people migrating to Wales from overseas. The most recent research focuses on the experiences of people in Wales who have looked for and used immigration legal advice, and the understanding of their rights and how to exercise them.
Join us as we share people’s valuable experiences and the key findings from our series of reports, published throughout autumn 2024.
Following a short presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and comment on the research. The webinar is set to be of interest to those working within the field, those who have experience of immigration advice, and everyone with an interest in improving access to justice for migrants.
Attendance is free.
