Financing Affordable Housing Supply

Public spending cuts and scarce mortgage credit have made it much more difficult to finance new affordable housing. The search for new ways to fund the building of affordable homes brings both opportunities and challenges.

This seminar will be a chance to discuss the pre-publication findings from an international review of financing affordable housing led by Professor Ken Gibb. As well as discussing International and UK innovations in financing affordable housing, the seminar will be an opportunity to discuss what the long term vision for financing affordable housing might look like.
