Employability and beyond

November 1st 2017

A big shake-up in labour market policy is underway in Wales.

The Welsh Government is due to publish its Employability Delivery Plan soon and its new employability offer set to be introduced in from April 2019.

This seminar will discuss out how jobs in Wales’ growth sectors can help to reduce poverty. Delegates will learn:

  • why employability is only part of the solution and
  • what are the most effective ways of helping people to get into work, to progress at work and benefit from decent terms and conditions.

This is a superb opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with leading experts and practitioners from Wales and the rest of the UK.

Date: 29th November 2017

Venue: Cardiff City Hall, Gorsedd Gardens, Cardiff

Time: 09.30 – 13.00

Cost:  free
