What is it about?

Changing how our economy works can create and share wealth, and can also support Welsh language and culture. Join us at the Eisteddfod to hear how people across Wales are ‘owning their future’.

The event will provide an opportunity to hear from inspiring people across Wales who have taken steps to own their future. You will have a chance to learn more about the work that’s already ongoing in Welsh communities listening to our expert panel, whilst also having an opportunity to ask questions and build connections with people from all over Wales.

Joining us on the panel will be:

  • Selwyn Williams – Cwmni Bro Ffestiniog
  • Lis McLean – Canolfan Soar
  • Steffan Evans (Chair) – Bevan Foundation

Translation will be available throughout the event.

Who should attend?

The event is taking place on Tuesday 6 August at 4.30pm and is open to everyone who is visiting the National Eisteddfod in Pontypridd. The event will of particular appeal to people with an interest in communities, social enterprises or the economy but is sure to appeal to a wide audience.

Tickets to the National Eisteddfod can be booked via their website.
