Bevan Foundation supporters, subscribers and friends are warmly invited to join us for our Annual General Meeting, being held via Zoom, on Monday 15th November 5:30pm-7pm 

As well as the formal business of the AGM, you’ll have an opportunity to find out how you helped to reduce poverty and inequality last year and to share your ideas about our activities in the future.

You will be sent confirmation of your registration along with full details of how to access the meeting, ask questions and vote a week before the meeting.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

To resolve that:

  1. Apologies for absence be received and noted.
  2. The minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 17th November 2020 be received and approved.
  3. The report of the Directors and the financial statements of the Company for the year ended 31st March 2021 be received.
  4. For information only – Amendments to the Bevan Foundation’s rules
  5. To re-appoint Mitchell Meredith Chartered Accountants as accountants and auditors of the Company, to hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting, and to authorise that their remuneration be fixed by the Trustees.
  6. To elect four Trustees of the Foundation for a term of office of four years.  The Trustees co-opted Rt Rev’d John D E Davies, Chisomo Phiri, Shavanah Taj and Richard Williams during the year and recommend them for election by the membership.
  7. Voting by members only on items 5 and6.

  1. Any member of the Company is entitled to attend, speak and vote at the meeting.
  2. Other supporters or subscribers may attend and speak but are not eligible to vote at the meeting.

Copies of the balance sheet and every document required by law to be annexed to it which are to be laid before the meeting are available for inspection digitally on request.
