About the Bevan Foundation
The Bevan Foundation was launched in 2001 to develop fresh thinking about the issues facing people in Wales today. The Bevan Foundation:
* carries out research,
* organises conferences and debates,
* publishes articles and reports.
Our ideas are influencing public policy and debate in Wales and the UK. Recommendations from our policy papers appeared in the manifestos of all political parties in Wales and featured in the One Wales programme of government for Wales. Our publications and events are regularly reported in the media and debated in the Assembly and Parliament.
The Foundation relies totally on membership subscriptions, donations, grants and commissions for its income. We do not receive any funding from any political party or core funding from government or government bodies.
To find out more about us, copies of our annual reports are available on request.
