New Trustees set new direction

The Bevan Foundation’s Annual General Meeting on 11th December 2014 unanimously elected three Trustees to join its board for a four year term:

  • Mark Hooper joins the board with extensive experience operating social enterprises, notably the hugely successful Indycube Community Interest Company. He has previously worked in big business.
  • Rachal Minchinton brings a wealth of experience as a fund-raiser in the third sector, currently working at Llamau. She has previously had roles in other third sector organisations and in media marketing.
  • Vivienne Sugar, currently the chair of the board, was elected having been previously co-opted onto the board.

In addition, Trustees co-opted Duncan Forbes to the Board – Duncan is CEO of Bron Afon Community Housing.

The AGM also said farewell with thanks to several Trustees who stood down at the end of their term of office:

  • Dai Davies
  • Jeremy Gass
  • Simon Pickthall
